It might be the height of summer, but now is the perfect time to review your energy provider in time for the coming winter. Last winter Which? asked more than 8,900 energy customers to rate their suppliers. The questions covered complaints, value for money, accuracy and clarity of bills and more.
Ovo Energy were at the top, earning almost 5/5 for every category, with an overall customer score of 82%. Good Energy, Ecotricity, Ebico and Utility Warehouse then followed, all with customer scores of over 70%. Trailing at the bottom were Npower, Scottish Power, The Co-operative Energy, Extra Energy and SSE, with them scoring 52% or less.
